CountryMouse's Refuge

Today I upgraded/made *different* (that's for sure!) the front page/top page of my website, The Mouse House. Go ahead, give me opinions. I think Cat'r thinks it's amusing and, um, unusual. :-D

I also prettied-up the Animal Crossing section.

As to having two diaries/journals: they are not exactly duplicating each other. ::sigh:: Oh well, here is the latest page on *that*, over there (CountryMouse's Diary).

Okay, I really need to eat.

why we didn't get a Christmas card from Harry Warner Jr. this year (well, last year, but you know what I mean). He died last February 17th (coincidentally my mother's birthday). Bunnicula and I knew him from SAPS (Spectator Amateur Press Society), when we were members back in the 80's.

I actually don't know if I ever knew he was a newsman. I just knew he was a very big name in SF fandom. And a very nice person. :-) He and I corresponded a little, way back. Then we fell into just exchanging Christmas cards. He never failed to send one. That's why I wondered, this year......

He was 80 years old. He died at home. And I am just now researching, to see what else I can find out.

Sheeesh, I seem to be thinking about death and dying an awful lot lately. :-(
