of Christmas. Yesterday, while I was going through the coupons and "doorstore" ads, and surrounded by many bears, I put on some music from a little collection I got from Victoria's Secret many years ago. The 3-CD set is called "Treasured Sounds of the Season" and is performed by The London Symphony Orchestra. The CD I put on first was called "Winterscapes". *Beautiful*! And then when the song "Evergreen" became an actual full-blown version of "O Tannenbaum", I decided I really wanted to hear *real* Christmas music. So I put on one of the other CDs from this set: "A Classic Christmas". It was lovely to listen to this. :-)
I was sort-of avoiding listening to *lots* of Christmas music during the actual season this year, as I did a LOT of that in the car everyday, last year, when Cat'r was taking me back and forth to my daily appointments. It was very helpful and beautiful during that time, but I was afraid it would feel flashback-y...and I didn't want to always associate this time of year with that part of my life.
So yesterday was nice. :-) And I am not sure when I will take down the Christmas decorations. I have until Candlemas/Imbolc. :-)
