Well, I was forced to finally upload the pics from my camera to my computer. :-P Or download if you prefer. I was taking photos yesterday, and it finally said, "OUT OF MEMORY". hehehhe I think I had about 260+ photos on my card, plus 3 little Qucktime movies.

So I spent a LOT of time working with photos today: all Animal Crossing pictures have to be reduced in size (for later posting in my AC Diary), usually fiddling with brightness, and definitely sharpened, as the game itself is a little fuzzy on the TV screen. And there were other photos that needed to be rotated and resized and such.

And then everything saved in separate little each-day folders. And then backed up on ZIP disks. Eventually I need to ask Cat'r's help in burning this stuff onto a CD-R. My CD-R/W drive doesn't work, but Cat'r has an external one hooked up to his computer. And we are all hooked up on a little mini ethernet.

Tired. Need lunch. And I need to go check on who has built an igloo today in my AC town of LarkRise!

On a whim I did a search for my late ex's name online.

I found his name on a long genealogy page...and found out in what city he died.

And I found, on another page, that a memorial scholarship had been set up in his name at a college that I didn't know he was affiliated with. He probably wasn't, but one of his family members may be/might've been.

He was a good man..I just wasn't the right one for him and vice versa.
