CountryMouse's Refuge

Got to bed last night around midnight. There were thunderstorms about last night, but I didn't hear anything. Bunnicula told me this morning that there was one during the night--heavy rain, wind, thunder.

I went out with the (what else?!) PalmPix this morning, to see what I could see. What I actually experienced was bird song and cool damp air, the sweet smell of damp earth, and the fresh new green *just* beginning to peep out on branches. I took some pictures, but I don't know how they'll look (preview on PalmPix doesn't show a great deal of detail--I will see more when the pics are uploaded to Cat'r's computer).

I forgot how much one *notices* everything around one when looking through the lens of a camera! It really makes you enjoy your world more. :-)

This time it's a few more photos of my Briarberry Bears, wearing fancy clothes!

I should go get a snack. If I'm smart, it should be 1/2 can of Boost Plus or Ensure Plus. Really, they are not too bad. I can't have chocolate (allergy--eep!), but the Boost Plus vanilla and the Ensure Plus butter pecan are pretty okay. :-) Need those calories and vitamins/minerals. :-)

from the last couple days and this morning, on my Mouse with PalmPix! page. I also trimmed a few photos off the page, since they were of Condominium residents...and that page is now up.

Ended up eating lunch earlier (last entry) instead of having a liquid snack. :-P Then napped for a bit. Phone call from an old friend, then Bunnicula and Cat'r returned from a shopping jaunt. Since then I have been working on my webpage...yet again. :-D

Hungry again, but will probably wait for supper until after COPS, which will be on in about 1/2 hour. "Bad boys, whatcha gon' whatcha gonna do?"
