Movie sign!
Cat'r and I have started watching older movies on American Movie Classics channel (AMC) and Turner Classic Movies channel (TCM). Both those channels are part of our cable service, anyway, so it's good to make use of them.
A few nights ago we watched "On Golden Pond" (Henry Fonda, Katherine Hepburn, and Jane Fonda) and enjoyed it greatly--a very sweet movie. :-)
I trash-taped "The Lion in Winter" (Peter O'Toole and Katherine Hepburn), but we haven't watched that yet.
I messed up and cut the end off "Anchors Aweigh" yesterday afternoon (nuts!); and I already have a copy of "A Tree Grows In Brooklyn" on a bought videotape.
Last night I trash-taped the 1935 Clark Gable-Charles Laughton-Franchot Tone version of "Mutiny on the Bounty". We watched it just a little while ago (we are such creatures of the night! hehehe). Now Cat'r is reading up on Pitcairn Island, online, and I shall too, soon.
Tomorrow/today I plan on trash-taping "Anastasia" and later on "The African Queen". And late Sunday night/Monday morning "Das Boot".
