Nice rainy night

Good sleeping weather. It was lightning-y and thunder-y earlier on this evening, but now just nice steady rain. :-)

Rearranged some of my bears and other stuffed animals to accommodate new people. A new Hello Kitty plush (a mermaid!) arrived today too. And I dressed Mollyberry in her dark green crushed velvet fancy gown that Ouma made for her--gorgeous! She is definitely an Irish princess now!

Night all. <:3

Yo-Yo Ma and The Great Escape

Online some this morning. Early this afternoon I "took to my bed", snuggled under the covers, put earbuds in, and listened to a couple Yo-Yo Ma CDs on my DiscMan equivalent. I listened to the Yo-Yo Ma/Bobby McFerrin collaboration "Hush" first, then the incredible "Appalachian Journey". It was such a nice soft grey day, I fell asleep during part of the second CD. :-P

This evening Cat'r and I watched "The Great Escape" starring just about everyone, led by Steve McQueen, James Garner, and well, everyone. I have loved this movie for a long time, so it was really nice to share this movie with the Cat'r, who had only seen Steve McQueen in one other movie so far: "The Magnificent Seven". I saw bits and pieces of this yesterday as I went in and out of the living room while he was watching it on Turner Classic Movies. We had all seen "The Seven Samurai" earlier on, and I wasn't sure that I would want to see the western-ized version of it; but Cat'r assured me it was very good! So sometime I want to see this in its entirety.
