On a cold and frosty morning
we heard fire trucks pulling up outside our apartment complex! Some kind of small (I think, I hope *knock on wood!*) fire in A section (which is part of the building we are in, yet somewhat separated). I guess it's all taken care of now. We did get a whiff of smoke in here; and briefly there was a little smoke out in the hallway/stairway. When we went outside, we saw that the firemen had set up a large fan in front of the doorway into A section. Then about 10 minutes later, we heard the trucks leave.
Urgh, I need sleep later. Was working on my web pages LOTS yesterday, then slept from 9pm until 2am. After a middle-of-the-night meal, I went through the coupons, preparatory to doing the grocery list later this morning.
Did some shopping online for Cat'r's birthday present. ::secretive smile::
