Taxes and bear clothes

Last Thursday we did our taxes online, with TurboTax Online. We went with 100% electronic filing this year. The other year we did it online (3 or 4 years ago), we still got a paper check, plus our state taxes couldn't be done online that year.

I can't believe we're actually going to get a tax refund this year! After two years of unexpected big payments (well, they sure seemed big to *us*), we're finally back to getting a refund.

So we each get "discretionary money" to spend on whatever we want; the rest goes into savings.

What I want to spend mine on: I want to spend some of/a little on getting some bear clothes made for my Briarberry bears and friends (there are four friends: lamb, kitten, puppy, bunny). Ouma, the Doll Lady, makes really cute and *inexpensive* clothes for fashion dolls AND Briarberry bears. I want to find out how much yardage she needs for certain outfits (you can let her choose, or you can send her material of your own choosing). I want to take Berryann to the fabric store with me and see what colours look good on her. Berryann is a smoky blue-grey colour, so not all the Briarberry outfits look good on her. So far she mostly looks good in various shades of blue or white. I'm thinking of having a fancy dress of dark blue velvet with maybe silver lacey trim made for her.
