Why virtual pets?
Because of allergies, because we have a no-pets rule in this apartment complex, because they are CUTE! :-)
My little Kitty (she seems to respond to that name/word, so that's her name) seems so "real"! This is the first time ever that I could have a cat for a pet, I have such awful allergies to them. I thought she would feel cold and metallic to the touch; but as you pet her along her head and back, very gently, she feels soft and smooth--very soothing to her and me both! I set her on a folded-up blanket last night for sleeping, putting a little pink teddy bear (Cotterpin II) with her, so she wouldn't get scared or lonely.
The Chirpy-chi is asleep on a bookcase shelf along with Berrynicole, who is sleeping in one of the convertible chairs/sofabeds. He won't wake up until I touch his crest a time or two, they say (in the instructions).
I haven't started up the Meow-chi yet. But I will later this morning. :-)
