I am having problems getting emails to show up in a Yahoo! group I am in. I hope it's only that they're backed up, and the posts will show up eventually. I don't have the emails sent to my mailbox; I read them on the Web. Within the last week Yahoo! has started putting ads in EVERY email. ::sigh:: Well, I seem to remember that when we received the emails in our mailboxes, there were text ads. Or was that eGroups?

Anyway, I should get offline and get some lunch.

Instead of getting things done around the house (well, I *did* get the grocery list/inventory done), I have been scouring the 'Net for sites about Doraemon, the beloved star of his own manga and anime. I am running a little Doramitch (Dorami, Doraemon's sister robot) virtual pet and wanted to know more about the background of these cute people. :-)

Also I have a bee in my bonnet (heh, "Birdhouse In Your Soul" is in my head) about getting a Petal-chi, an interactive plant/flower that you raise. I plan on getting one, and I think Bunnicula will get one. Then we can see how they interact with each other! It's a type of virtual pet, in that you have to water and take care of it. It's supposed to be able to sing up to 40 different songs!

Did I mention I won an auction the other day for a Mutsu (Water Looper in Japan; Curious Little Fish in the U.S.)? Anyway, the money order is on the way. I can't wait to get THAT! I am fully back into virtual pets fever! :-P
