WeatheRadios and stuff
Decided to check the weather online, as the WeatheRadio alarm keeps going off. I wanted to see if it looks like it will "only" be flash flood watches and warnings (which won't affect us); or if there is a possibility of there being any severe thunderstorm or tornado stuff. Because I want to TURN IT OFF!
Bunnicula is *trying* to get some sleep and avoid coughing all night. Every time that blinking radio goes off, it wakes him (and all of us) up again. We don't have enough $$ to get one of those fancy new WeatheRadios that you can program for just your county...or any counties you want to include. So every last watch and warning that goes out, our radio goes off. And it's a honkin' big LOUD alert!
Okay, other than that, it sounds wonderful, hearing the rain on the roof, seeing and hearing distant (mostly *knock on wood*) lightning and thunder.
I slept from 6pm until about 12:30am, so that's why I am up at this hour. ::grin:: I should get back to bed soon, though.
