If I am "away" on IM systems
I am not at ALL good at doing more than one thing at a time. In fact, when I am uploading stuff to my website, I think my *computer* is not good at doing more than one thing at a time. So when I am uploading, I don't even have any IM thingees on at ALL. And if I am intently reading or searching for something online or writing, not just lightweight recreational surfing, I will often make myself "away" or "busy" or even invisible. I don't mean to be stand-offish; I am just not good at doing more than one thing at a time, with any degree of competence. I like to be *in* a conversation, not looking at it peripherally, in a distracted way. ::wishing mouse brane functioned better::
So (anyone/everyone) please: if you think I am ignoring you or avoiding you, it's me just trying to get stuff done, not meaning to be rude or anything.
::sigh:: I often don't even have music on; and when I do, it has to be stuff with no lyrics or unintelligible, non-intrusive lyrics.
This CD, Praise, is Miriam Stockley (etc.) before she hooked up with Karl Jenkins and did Adiemus etc. :-)
