Yeah!
Got to go to the Cat'r's this afternoon! :-) Christopher went with me. The cab driver wasn't sure if he should charge extra for a bear; but we looked cute (Christopher) and pathetic (me) at the same time, so he had mercy on us. :-P Christopher hung over the headrest of the passenger seat in front, so he could see out. He's never been outSIDE before. The closest he has come to being outside was looking out the front door...or was it down on the landing, looking out the big plate-glass windows? Anyway, he got to see trees and birds and grass and sky and lots of other things!
Teddy was concerned, before we left, that Christopher was not wearing some kind of coat or cloak, as he (Teddy) and other bears had before; but I assured Teddy that it was much milder weather out today and that Christopher would be fine. :-)
Christopher got to meet up with Kemper Forbes again, a shaggy grey chenille bear he had met on Christmas Day, last December. Then Kemper went to live over at Cat'r's house. It was a nice reunion. :-) Christopher also went to talk to the Bean Sprouts people who had emigrated from my house to the Cat'r's, to bring messages to them and receive messages to bring back to the fuzzy folks here at home.
Christopher and I watched Cat'r playing "Black & White". Very interesting game! The voice whispering "deeaatthh" every once in a while *is* spooky, though! I think it might mean Death has come to one of the villagers.
Christopher also watched as we played several dance games. I can't get the hang of "Unison" at ALL; I enjoy "Dance Dance Revolution" on the Beginner mode; and I whoop butt on the original "Bust-A-Groove". :-P Of course, my favourite character is Shorty...well, and Columbo, the mouse! :-)
Back we came around 6pm. Supper; then we all watched a trash-taped two-episodes-ago ep. of "The Lone Gunman" (about the Clinton-esque senator). Followed by part of a (real-time) episode of Alton Brown's "Good Eats" on Food TV (this was about making tomato sauce). I love his show--just forget to check when it will be on.
Fun day, happy mouse. :-)
