::sigh:: I meant to get online today and finish talking about yesterday.
Then I started working on fixing up a little tribute page to my father. Well, being the perfectionist mousie that I am, I had to look through all the tons of graphics I have gathered from the Web. I finally found just the right background. But then I had to find buttons, a divider/bar, and now I am in the process of making a banner.
Hey, I found out I have the Eye Candy filter thingee on PaintShopPro 5! A blessing and a curse, since I fiddled and fiddled with that, to get just the right look. But guess what. When I turned the heading/banner into a .gif, I got all that messy artifact-y stuff. So I have been cleaning it up, pixel by pixel. I am not finished, but I thought I had BETTER stop, since my hand is getting to feel weird.
A couple or so years ago I managed to get myself a frozen shoulder (adhesive capsulitis) because of excessive mouse-ing. :-P At that time I had the mouse in a very awkward place, so it was much worse. But I hope my hand and forearm don't give me trouble tomorrow. I do have a squeezy-ball-thingee I can use tomorrow, if any muscles are sore.
I know my pages aren't really fancy like some of you-all's; but oh well. What I would really like to be able to do is do HTML from scratch, so that my pages would load REALLY FAST! I use FrontPage to do my site. I know it does a lot of what someone told me is called "spaghetti code", which supposedly makes pages take longer to load. :-( But I am able to think about content and not process this way.
Cat'r might be over tonight...I hope so. :-) We plan on watching that new reality show, "Boot Camp". :-P It might be awful, but we'll give it a try anyway. :-D
