Shopping Addiction.......

I cleared the first level on "Top Shop". :-) Yay! I have played "one year" so far on the second mall (in Story Mode you can only save in April--each turn is one month). There is a lot of luck involved, but also strategy as to how to set up shops, when to try to buy out others, etc. It's just so cute, though, cute kids (well, except for the runny-nosed kid that is part of this second level that I need to "beat"), cute music, etc.

Very very sleeeeeeeepy. Will check Friends LJ's briefly, then off to bed.

Oh!

It's already noon?! I have been up since about 7:30am. Had breakfast, read/went through the TV Guide. We are planning on watching that new reality show, "Boot Camp". :-P And right after that, this coming Wednesday night, at 10pm ET on Food TV is a retrospective of Graham Kerr. I want to tape that. :-)

Anyway, I've been spending half the morning reading various LiveJournals: [info]gooroo has some really cool people on his Friends list! :-)

Oh, and I found out about some new mood icons in the March 24th entry in Announcements. Go check them out! I haven't made up my mind yet which ones I like most. You may see them changing here off and on for a while. :-P

Wonder if the Caterpillar is awake yet? I think I'll wait and not bother him. :-P

This is such a GORGEOUS Faye Wong CD...well, what one of her CDs *isn't*?!? It's called "Fable" in English; but I only have the regular CD of this, not the deluxe version that included a video CD (VCD). It's her latest album.

Entr'acte

Cat'r came over about 4pm or so. After a short while he helped Bunnicula get through some kind of cardplaying tournament in Final Fantasy IX. I was watching too, since at some point I will probably be playing this also (no, I don't mind being spoiled--I use strategy guides :-) ).

But then, right after the tournament, there was NO save point. Instead a LOT of things started happening: cut scenes. battles, exciting and scary things. It went on for 45 minutes! The graphics were SO beautiful, the story so tense. ::whew!::

So now Cat'r is napping a little (he didn't get much sleep last night/this morning), Bunnicula is hanging out on his computer, and I am on mine. :-)

I think in a little bit we are going to watch Friday night's "The Lone Gunmen" episode that I trash-taped for later viewing. We are *not* watching the Oscars tonight--not our cup of tea/waste of time. :-P

Oh, this music is the soundtrack from "Out Of Africa".
