Today (the 20th) was the Caterpillar's birthday. :-) I was racing around here early in the morning, making a little homemade birthday card/note, discovering I didn't have an envelope to fit it, so having to make an envelope too, and decorating it with Tare Panda stickers (the card/note was on Tare Panda notepaper--very cute!). Then I had to wrap the little presents I had for him, also finding just the right Tare Panda stickers for them too. :-)

Got breakfast, got cleaned up, straightened a little. There was also time to make a quick update to my VP Diary page. Then Cat'r was over around 12 noon. :-)

Nice leisurely afternoon that included music and food and so on. :-)

And then was the birthday cake, ice cream, cards, and presents. :-) Everything went well, and Cat'r liked his presents. The cake was nice and fresh (sometimes the bakery up the street can be a little iffy); and we had da Cat'r's favourite ice cream, chocolate chip cookie dough, for him. :-)

Shortly after, we all watched two episodes of "Fushigi Yuugi".

Late(r) this evening, after Cat'r went home, I worked on some things on the Tamagotchi section of my website.

Nice, happy day. :-) Cat'r said he had a really nice day, and I know I did too. :-)

Wow, I was up late last night (working on website, etc.) Got to bed around 3am; then slept until 8:30am or so.

Breakfast, then the odious task of double-checking to see if we had hand-done our taxes correctly via TurboTax online. We did. Blech. It's as bad as we thought it was. So then I filled out the forms officially (had done a draft in late January, but we didn't have the money we owed until now), then wrote out the check. That was almost physically painful. >:-(

And Cat'r came down with a cold and had to stay home from work today. :-( I hope he feels better *soon*!

Bright note: my Tamagotchi changed into a form I had never had before, so that was something nice. :-)

Well, need to catch up on others' diaries and such.
