March 17th, 2001

St. Patrick's Day etc.

Konnichiwa! uh, wait a minute. Top o' the mornin' to ye! Hope you're wearing some green today. I am wearing my Connemara marble shamrock necklace and green, um, unmentionables. :-P

Last night we did indeed watch "The Lone Gunmen"; but then the Cat'r and I were both too tired to watch all of "Iron Chef", so we just let it tape. We'll watch the rest sometime later on.

I finally sent my one Tamagotchi back home today, in preparation for starting up another one, one in a GREEN case, to celebrate the day. :-) I *could* have more than one going at the same time--I've done it before. But with my Wave UFO going also, it would be just a bit too much. Beeping here, beeping there, aarrggh!

So I need to get the rest of my breakfast (I am taking a quick computer break here), then I will start up my new little Tam.

Stuff happening

Started up my new little Tamagotchi (Patrick O'Peep), but haven't posted anything in my VP diary yet. Waiting until he settles down a little before I put the new info about him there. Tams go through a lot at first. I forget at what point he will transform from a babitchi into a marutchi...is it today? I forget. He's in his just-past-45-minutes-alive nap right now.

Cat'r will be over pretty soon. :-) He's bringing games and books an' stuff. :-)

Erin, my little green-with-white-shamrock Beanie Baby bear, is sitting here near me, on Lime's lap. Lime is a larger pale green bear I have--she's holding a Tamagotchi on her lap in that picture. :-) Anyway, she is named after my favourite Saber Marionette.

Hope Bunnicula is able to find some St. Paddy's Day cookies up the street at the bakery.

Oh, this music is by my favourite local Celtic band. :-) I've seen them in person many times. Great folks! Great music. :-) This is where I first heard "Bonny Portmore"; and I still like *their* rendition of it better than Loreena McKennitt's, although hers is lovely too.

Okay

Got my pages updated to reflect my new little Tamagotchi's progress. So much little fiddly bits. Well, that's me, the perfectionist mousie. :-P

Cat'r is here, so gonna go see what cool new videogames he brought over. :-) Also, go get a cookie or something yummy!

This afternoon and evening

I watched Cat'r play some of "Onimusha", which is a gorgeous PlayStation2 adventure game. A bit on the bloody side; but again, another game with very very realistic-looking people. Then he played some of "Ring of Red", a strategy game with great graphics.

After supper, we all watched three episodes of "Fushigi Yuugi". I am really liking this anime. We tried watching it a year or two ago but somehow got bogged down and/or sidetracked by something else, so I wasn't sure if I'd remembered it as interesting or not. But I do like it. :-) Hey, Miaka: if you don't want Hotohori, I'll take him! Yum! :-P

This is lovely harp music of Ireland playing, BTW.
