In the early morning rain...

Nice rainy morning. I was up very early again. The house was all dark and quiet. I could hear raindrops hitting the window every now and then. I can still hear the sound of the tires on the wet road outside; but I can't hear it actually raining now, now that I have my computer on. :-)

Not much else to say--think I'll go check out others' LJ's. ::Christopher waves at the monitor::

Sleep!

I actually *did* get back to bed this morning, for once! From 9am to about 12:30pm. Ah, sweet sleep. :-)

Then, after ... lunch? ... I played some "Paper Mario". Now Cat'r is here, and we plan to watch a couple "Iron Chef" episodes on tape--we are *so* behind on watching!

Still rainy--nice grey day. :-) Wish we lived in Boston: we'd get SNOW!

Stuff

We watched the 300th "Iron Chef" competition: Foie Gras Battle, and then the 30-minute (stretched to fit an hour program--we got to see a LOT more of the tasting and judgment part this time!) overtime, Asparagus Battle. Good eps.!

Then this evening we watched the first episode of "The Lone Gunmen", the spinoff program from "The X Files". Really good! Well, I like geeky stuff. :-)

Okay, earlier I wished I were in Boston, so I could be in some snow. I have been watching the weather on various channels and realize that maybe that was something I shouldn't be wishing for. The Northeast U.S. is going to get 1-2, possibly 3 FEET of snow over the next couple of days, with blizzard conditions at times. I would settle for about 6 inches of snow. :-)
