Learned something new

I just put three threads into my Memories section--first time I have used this feature of LiveJournal. I think I will be using it so I can quickly find useful (and also memorably cute/funny) things. :-D

Slept from 8pm last night until around 4am. I should get some breakfast, then breathe steam (under my bright yellow somewhat dome-shaped Pikachu umbrella--complete with EARS--, draped with a towel), then nap or something like that. Growth/healing hormones are only released when one is actually asleep, not just resting. However sleeping might be tricky until much later today. Our bedroom has an east-facing window, and it's a very bright sunny morning so far. The online local weather (I just checked) says today is going to be a mostly sunny day, so oh well. I actually prefer cloudy days, but I'll bet my brain likes the sunny days. :-P

Trying out the "music playing" feature...

Cat'r is coming over soon. We hope to watch some "Trigun", and maybe he will read to me from "The Jeeves Omnibus" too. :-)

I can't concentrate .... ack, this is why I don't listen to music when on the computer...."sugar hiccup on cheerios..." hehehehe Well, your guess is as good as mine, when it comes to what Liz is singing. :-P

Woohoo!

The Caterpillar is here with me as I post and is helping me set up the latest...well, not beta...version of WinAmp...and I have a HELLO KITTY skin on it!! KAWAIIII!!!

Magic trick!

Hey, Cat'r just now somehow pulled a gold coin (one of those new Sacajawea dollars) out of my *ear*! Hmm, this could be a previously unknown source of income, should we need extra $$. :-P

Asian Mr. Hanky!

Cat'r and I played around on the Web for a couple hours today, getting me the latest WinAmp, skins for it, then listening to various MP3s and such.

Cat'r wanted to show me the cute little (or maybe not so little) plush Sushi Seals at YesAsia.com. We got to poking around and found something about a couple piglets named McMug and McDull...and a person named Excreman! Further investigation took us to The Excreman homepage. It seems that this is an elaborate parody (or are the creators of this possibly serious?) of Raymond Briggs' "The Snowman"! The video even has the dreamy look to it and haunting, sweetly sad music as does "The Snowman"! Has to be seen to be believed. :-P
