Various and sundry
Hope to wrap up this entire big thing of making lots of phone calls, getting together a lot of paperwork by the end of this weekend, Monday at the latest. It's keeping me from my online life! :-P
Last night Cat'r and I went to the Franklin Covey store (where I felt very out-of-place and ill at ease), the Gamestop right next door (where I felt completely at home and happy), stopping by a Penn Station, then to his place. He showed me the wonders of Inklink, an addictive online game in which one person draws the representation of a word and the others try to guess it (I know there was a TV show like this; but for the life of me, I can't remember what it was).
I wonder when I will take down the Christmas decorations...probably next week, before Candlemas (Groundhog Day).
Oh, oh! Cat'r brought over his Dreamcast a couple nights ago, and a very far-out and neat game called "The Typing of the Dead"! LOL! It's not a "shooter", it's a "typer"! You have to type the words over the zombies' and monsters' heads (QUICKLY!) before they kill you and/or their hostages. There is even an extensive typing tutorial with this game! It would be a really cool way to teach a kid typing. :-P
