Smoked baked beans?
Hmm...late last night the people in the next apartment...or somewhere in our section...were, uh, smoking baked beans or something that smelled like that.
I am *not* happy with the tone things are taking in this country already. President Bush proclaimed today a National Day of Prayer and Thanksgiving. ::sigh:: And so much specific religious rhetoric yesterday, one way and another. Off putting, to say the least.

We watched the elections, the Inaugurations, and other things during the Clinton administration. So yesterday, for Stutzie and me, was more about seeing off someone we really liked, than welcoming the new President. I wish Mr. Bush well, but he's got a long road ahead of him. I hope he *can* be a unifier...
