Aaaaah, see that's it: we are forced to use Facebook. :-( I just have never felt it was my personal choice, but that everyone else was going there, so I had to too. On Facebook I don't feel I can "be myself" (inasmuch as anyone *is* him/herself online)--I have to think up things to *put* there. :-p I used to "live" on LiveJournal, then moved over here. But then somehow I began to "live" on Twitter. For a couple or several years I had my tweets shipped over here to InsaneJournal, so what I said got archived.
I guess this whole rant started because I was thinking of permanence and being remembered (morbid thoughts, but oh well!). I know a LOT of people think lie2me
(on LiveJournal) was not a "real person", but I interacted with him on a regular basis while he was writing his LJ. We talked privately about the problem of stalkers. Anyway, his LJ is now locked into Memorial Status and will never go away. I have a permanent account here, so I'm hoping that IJ will be here for a LONG time.
