::sigh:: When are people going to stop fearing what seems different to them and therefore stop hating?
Here is a tweet that came through my timeline today:

I do not understand how a same-sex couple getting married can threaten my heterosexual marriage. I just don't. And why, as a heterosexual, I get to have certain rights regarding life-and-death decisions re: my spouse and a same-sex couple wouldn't. This IS a civil rights issue.
Here is another tweet that came through, if it has to do with what some people of a certain religion consider an abomination and what is "forbidden":

Sheesh, this country is not supposed to be a theocracy! :-(
